This program has a very good detection rate for viruses and it is a very good product for protecting your system.
While it has a high detection rate it does not offer email protection, which differs from AVG and AVAST. It is fast, effective and is popular. NOTE: Some people don't like the constant nag screen that appears every time you get updates. A solution for this, is to visit http://www.elitekiller.com/files/disable_antivir_nag.htm and follow the instruction for your O/S

Windows XP doesn't play DVDs by default. Most solutions cost $10-20, which is too much to pay for basic functionality that should be included in the first place. VLC installs and plays DVDs and a bunch of other video formats right away. Simple to use and works well. What more could you ask for? (One users opinion)
